Al Zohour Club Japanese Lake & Olympic Swimming Pool

In 2019, the Al Zohour Club in Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt, embarked on renovations to the Japanese Lake and Olympic Swimming Pool, using Xypex Crystalline technology for waterproofing and concrete protection. A 15 cm concrete layer on the lake floor was included Xypex Admix C-1000 NF to ensure waterproofing and long-term durability. Xypex Concentrate was applied to the Olympic Swimming Pool. Xypex’s crystalline technology provides permanent waterproofing with self-healing capabilities, thereby reducing maintenance needs and extending service life. The successful integration of Xypex materials in the Al Zohour Club project underscores their efficacy in delivering enhanced durability, chemical protection, and environmental responsibility.
