Address East Compound

For the Address East Compound project in New Cairo, Egypt, owned by Dorra Group, Shield for Specialized Constructions executed the waterproofing, using specifications and materials supplied by Beton, the Xypex agent in Egypt. The project utilized Xypex Concentrate for its critical waterproofing needs, including roofs, foundations, swimming pools, and water features. Xypex Concentrate was selected for its technical merits: it integrates with the concrete substrate to withstand hydrostatic pressure and seals static hairline cracks up to 0.5 mm. Its chemical resistance safeguards structural integrity against harsh conditions, and its flexibility in application—on both positive and negative sides of concrete, without needing a dry surface—facilitates efficient installation. Environmentally safe, non-toxic, and VOC-free, Xypex Concentrate provides a permanent, maintenance-free solution that is cost-effective and extends the concrete’s service life, aligning with the project’s sustainability and durability objectives.
