Al Amria Petrolum Company, Wastewater Tanks

In a collaborative effort, the Al Amria Petroleum Company, under the Egyptian Government, built new wastewater tanks in Alexandria, Egypt, utilizing Xypex Admix C-1000 NF for waterproofing. This project targeted the containment of wastewater with pH levels from 3 to 4, leveraging Xypex’s ability to enhance concrete durability through crystalline growth, which provides an effective barrier against water exfiltration and chemical resistance. Xypex Admix C-1000 NF provides long-term structural integrity with self-healing properties, ensuring sustainability and cost-efficiency. Specifications were meticulously developed by Beton for Consulting & Construction Chemicals, led by Eng. Amr Saad, with ALBatanony for Engineering & Contracting executing the waterproofing. This initiative sets a new standard for durable and sustainable infrastructure within the petroleum industry, showcasing a commitment to environmental stewardship and operational excellence.
