Accountability State Authority Compound

In 2015, the Accountability State Authority’s compound in Alexandria, situated along the Canal Suez road, embarked on a waterproofing project for its 8,000 square meter basement, utilizing Xypex Concentrate. This product is known for its unique crystalline technology that penetrates the concrete to form a durable barrier against water infiltration. Unlike traditional methods, Xypex reacts with water and concrete minerals to create a crystalline structure within the pores and capillaries, effectively sealing the concrete and protecting it against water ingress and chemical attacks. Overseen by Prof. Dr. Fathy AbdRabbo and with technical specifications from Beton Technical Office led by Eng. Amr Saad, the project was executed by Elmagmouaa Elhandasia. The choice of Xypex Concentrate underscores a commitment to leveraging advanced technologies for long-lasting infrastructure protection.
